At Crossroads NOLA, our work with foster families has primarily been serving the Greater New Orleans area. However, for several years now, we’ve had the opportunity to engage at the statewide level by equipping caregivers and professionals to care for Louisiana’s most vulnerable children and families. This year, thanks to partners and churches, we have officially expanded our recruiting efforts to Shreveport. To reflect this growth beyond New Orleans, we’re dropping NOLA from our name (with no love lost – the work in New Orleans continues!)
With this shift comes a change in name and logo! As we press on in the work – both new and established – our focus remains: connecting children and families to the families, individuals, and opportunities they need to thrive.
